A grassroots community organisation creating lasting change through agriculture, health, education, and economic empowerment across rural Kenya.
Who We Are
Bridgeflow Community Based Organisation is a voluntary, non-profit and non-political community initiative established to serve the public interest. Based in Rongo Town, Migori County, we operate primarily in Rongo Sub County โ with a vision to expand our reach across Kenya.
We work independently under the Community Groups Registration Regulations with no political or religious affiliation โ bringing together community members, development partners, and stakeholders to create lasting solutions through integrated programmes in agriculture, health, education, and economic empowerment.
Our approach is holistic, community-owned, and evidence-based โ ensuring that every intervention we design is locally relevant and delivers measurable, sustainable impact for the most vulnerable.
Improving household nutrition and incomes through modern farming
Preventive care, health talks & referral services for underserved areas
Vocational training & literacy programmes for youth and adults
Micro-enterprise, savings groups & income-generating activities
Our Direction
To create a self-reliant, empowered and united community through sustainable development initiatives that endure beyond our direct involvement and inspire neighbouring communities across Kenya โ building a future where no one is left behind.
To promote inclusive community development through agriculture, education, health, social welfare, environmental conservation and economic empowerment programmes โ designed with communities, implemented transparently, and evaluated for lasting impact.
What We Do
Six integrated programmes addressing the most critical needs of communities in Rongo Sub County โ designed to deliver holistic, measurable transformation.
Supporting communities with modern farming techniques, access to quality inputs, and training to improve food production and household nutrition across Rongo Sub County.
Equipping youth and adults with vocational skills, scholarships, and literacy programmes to unlock their full economic potential and secure better futures.
Delivering health talks, referral services, TB/HIV awareness, and preventive care to underserved communities โ improving health outcomes where it matters most.
Providing psychosocial support, safety nets, and welfare assistance to vulnerable individuals and families โ because no one should face hardship alone.
Tree planting, waste management, and conservation education to protect natural resources and promote environmental sustainability for future generations.
Micro-enterprise development, savings groups, and income-generating activities to build financial resilience and self-reliance at the household level.
"Every community holds the seeds of its own transformation. Our role is simply to help those seeds grow โ through trust, partnership, and relentless commitment to those who need it most."

Making Impact
Transformative, donor-funded projects creating measurable, lasting change in Rongo Sub County and beyond โ each aligned with global Sustainable Development Goals.
Bridgeflow CBO promotes pig rearing as a sustainable economic empowerment activity transforming lives in Rongo Sub County. Pig waste is sustainably processed into high-quality organic manure (FRAS), applied in maize and banana farming โ dramatically improving agricultural productivity while promoting responsible waste management and circular agriculture.
Bridgeflow CBO is implementing a Poultry Empowerment Program supporting small and emerging farmer groups through improved chicks, comprehensive training, veterinary support, and market linkages. This initiative directly tackles poverty, food insecurity, and unemployment โ with a focused commitment to women and youth empowerment across Migori County and surrounding regions.
An innovative climate-smart project converting organic agricultural waste into valuable resources โ protein-rich BSF larvae for livestock feed and organic frass manure for soil enrichment. Bridgeflow will establish BSF production units, train farmers, supply starter kits, and create sustainable market linkages โ creating income for youth and women while reducing feed costs and improving soil fertility across the region.
